Warranty
A) Coverage from day one.
All new Mercedes-Benz vehicles come with a two-year new vehicle warranty. This warranty is offered in addition to the statutory liability for material defects and provides peace of mind during the first two years.
The warranty is valid from the date of vehicle delivery or the date of first registration, whichever comes first, and has no mileage limitation.
The contractual warranty is provided by the Authorized Distributor who completes the sale. It is recognized in all EU member states, as well as in Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.
B) The Electric Vehicle Warranty
All electric vehicles come with a 2-year warranty with no mileage limitation, covering both mechanical and electrical components (e.g. suspension, steering system, switches, infotainment system, etc.).
In addition to the standard 2-year warranty for the electric vehicle, a battery certificate is also provided. This guarantees warranty coverage through repair or replacement of the high-voltage battery in the event of malfunction, for a period of 8 years or 160,000 km—whichever comes first—or if the battery’s maximum capacity falls below 70% of its original capacity.
